At a clearing in the woods, a bear tenderly reaches out to two small birds. Like so many animals, historically bears have been horribly treated and completely misunderstood. In this print I wanted to show the bear as a kind and gentle being.

This 6 colour silkscreen is printed on Somerset satin, a heavyweight 300 gram handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is created by printing each colour separately, gradually building up the image.
